UK ADVERTISING EXPERIENCE

For 15 years G Henshaw worked in the UK as an advertising copywriter and creative and board director in London at some the the country’s leading advertising agencies: J Walter Thompson, Ted Bates, Davidson Pearce, Boase Massimi Pollit (BMP), DDB Needham, Hutton Co, Saatchi & Saatchi. Before moving to Australia he also started his own agency FGH in London.

During his time in London he created numerous campaigns for some the country’s leading brands. This was a time of press and magazine advertising,TV, radio, cinema, outdoor  and below the  line activity of brochures, point of sale and direct mail  The internet revolution was still in its infancy. But consumers haven’t changed –  advertisers just have more opportunities to reach them. Strong, creative, impactful, memorable advertising  is still the core of successful marketing.
